I called Baylands Park in Sunnyvale today and there is one large picnic area available to reserve on 9/27. There is also no need to get special permits for the trail - since they do not rent it out for exclusive use, we are free to share it. But, there is one concern - the bathrooms are not close to the picnic area. I will need to ask if they will let me rent accessible portable toilets...

I went there with Dawn and walked with my walker. It was flat and the ground is dirt, which is grippe and comfortably cushioned for walker and cane users, but the path way was rather narrow, besides the toilet issue. Pathway was split into two ways in the middle. If you choose the left way it was 0.3 miles total. If you choose right way, I don't know but it went far.
